Strawberry Yogurt Popsicle - Summer Special

This Strawberry Yogurt Popsicle is packed with vitamin C and good quality protein - a perfect, refreshing treat for summer!

I am sure kids will love this!

Ingredients:

Strawberries - 8 to 10
Yoghurt - ½ cup
Sugar - 2 tbsp ( adjust according to your taste)

Lime juice - 1 tsp (optional)
Popsicle mould

Directions:

Add strawberries, a tbsp of sugar and lemon juice(optional) in a blender / mixer and grind it into a puree.

Add yogurt and sugar in a bowl and mix well.  Keep aside.

Pour a tbsp of the strawberry puree into the bottom of each Popsicle mold and then add a tbsp of yogurt on top of that.

Repeat with another layer each of strawberry puree and freeze for 5 to 6 hours or until firm.

To remove the Popsicles from the molds, hold the molds in warm water; it will come out easily.

Serve immediately!

Note:

If you don't have Popsicle mold, use paper cups and wooden sticks as an alternative.

To make it low calorie, try honey instead of sugar!
