This recipe is my entry for the event "Shhh!!! Cooking Secretly" challenge started by Priya Suresh. For this month, I have paired with Sangee Vijay of Spicy Treats and the ingredient given by her was Dry Fruits and Cardamom.
I have used both the ingredients and prepared a delicious, highly nutritious and also refreshing drink!
This recipe is perfect to serve during festive occasions and parties; for extra richness you can serve it with the scoop of ice cream!

Ingredients:
Dates - 5 (De-seeded)
Dried Figs - 4
Raisins -10
Pistachios - 6 to 7
Almonds - 8
Cardamom powder - ½ tsp
Milk (chilled) - 2 ½ to 3 cups
Sugar or Honey - to taste (optional)
Directions:
Soak the dates and figs in ½ cup hot milk for 30 minutes or till it becomes soft.
Add raisins, all nuts and soaked dates, fig in blender / mixer. Grind into a smooth paste and add milk, cardamom powder, icecubes and honey.
Blend well till it becomes smooth and frothy; Serve immediately.
