Fish fry can be eaten as it is as a snack or as an accompaniment to main course.
Ingredients:
Fish pieces -10 pieces (clean and cut )
Coconut desiccated -1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 2tsp
Small onion - 3
Turmeric powder -1tsp
Fennel seeds (saunf) -1 tsp
Redchilli powder - 2 or 3 tsp(adjust according to your taste bud)
corriander powder - 1 tsp
Thick tamarind extract -2tsp
Salt as required
Oil for shallow frying
Directions
Wash the fish fillets and pat dry.
Grind together, coconut, ginger, garlic, red chilli powder, fennel seeds, small onion, tamarind extract, salt and just enough water to make fine thick paste.
Apply this masala on both sides of the fish; allow to marinate for more than a hour.
